Required Qualifications - Experience working with biological systems, especially those involving bacteria, fungi, nematodes, insects, and/or worms - Physical ability to lift 60 lbs regularly - Comfort working with liquids, soil, and insects - Strong data recording skills and attention to detail - Problem-solving abilities and creative thinking for system optimization Preferred Qualifications - Presentation skills for sharing data and findings with team and at conferences - Background in microbiology, entomology, soil science, or related fields - Experience with sustainable agricultural systems or vermiculture - Project management experience
- Build and maintain biological systems to support worm health, substrates, granular, and liquid products - Maintain and improve existing biological systems while developing new habitats - Design creative solutions to promote system health, longevity, and continuous cycling - Conduct onsite collection and coordinate offsite testing of biological materials - Assist in implementing changes to larger system production for liquids and granular products - Maintain detailed records and documentation of all systems and experiments - Present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders
